Tight Line Fisheries is a family business, established on the Lower South Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal in 1991 by Paul and Cherie Loomes.
From the humble beginnings of a retail outlet, Tight Line Fisheries has become a large and diverse organisation.

We not only wholesale fresh and frozen seafood countrywide but also supply all restaurant related products. See our product listing for the full range available.

Tight Line Fisheries has become diverse in its operation from catching, importing, processing, distributing and exporting the finest quality products.

Puffin, is our very own tuna poling boat based in Hout Bay, Cape Peninsular, which goes out for days at a time to bring back fresh tuna.

We not only source our product locally but import product from around the globe.

All Tight Line Fisheries processing takes place at Futurama. A HACCP approved EU Accredited processing plant of the world's most sought after langoustine's, prawns, calamari and other seafood products.

With our fleet of refridgerated vehicles we distribute from the smallest B&B to large supermarket chain stores throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries. Further afield, we export to Switzerland, America, Canada, Ireland among other destinations.

With a history of commitment, loyalty and reliability, Tight Line Fisheries has grown from strength to strength and will continue to do so.
